Goulash

Ingredients:
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1-3 tsp. olive oil
  • 2, 16 ounce cans of stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lb of ground meat
  • 1 cup of water
  • 8 ounces of whole wheat macaroni
  • salt to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • *adding frozen veggies to it like corn, or bell pepper is a great option

 
Directions:
  1. Saute garlic and onion
  2. Brown meat, drain
  3. Add beef, tomatoes, water, raw macaroni, and salt to the onion mixture.
  4. Simmer for 15-20 minutes
  5. Top with cheese
  6. Serve with a salad
